This is an exquisite opportunity to immerse yourself in yoga, nature, buddha and the community of like minded others. shed what no longer serves you so only the essential remains.

The Teachers
Kimberly Paul
Four trainings and 25 plus years later, Kimberly continues to curate methods that provide rigor and discipline, without being so rooted in dogma that there is no room for exploration and growth. Having studied extensively with Anna Forest, Edward Clark, and Kofi Busi, Kimberly’s teaching is premised on traditional methods, but with the knowledge that this foundation sets the basis for one’s continued development. Understanding the complexities of asana as a way to simplify life and to appreciate the everyday are the tenets that underlie her philosophy.
Ryushin Paul Haller
Ryushin Paul Haller served as Abiding Abbot at City Center from 2003 to 2012, and is currently the Urban Temple Dharma Teacher at City Center. He has lived and practiced at San Francisco Zen Center since the 1970s and held many positions at Tassajara and City Center. He received Dharma Transmission from Sojun Mel Weitsman and has been teaching for over 30 years. Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, he teaches throughout the US and Europe and has led mindfulness programs to assist with depression and recovery. Paul has also taught in prisons and had a long involvement with the Zen Hospice Project. He has been practicing yoga for over 30 years. Paul teaches at the Black Mountain Zen Centre in Belfast.
Taking time off my rigorous work schedule to immerse in a four day retreat is a rare experience. Multiple classes that are well thought out that build on each other led by Kimberly, is a once in a life time experience. Fortunately, for me, I have had several of these life time experiences.

It was an incredible highly curated experience—a mix of getting to know a region, a locale, and a community of artisans, restauranteurs, and bespoke business owners who make the region such a special place. A real testament to Kimberly Paul who seamlessly crafts unique memorable trips that last far beyond the time you leave. If you are open, curious, and adventurous her retreats are for you. Do it—it will be an experience you'll never forget.
